Banana Bread

So as most of you probably know from my incessant social media posting, I have decided to relaunch my blog as a lifestyle blog! Say hello to fashion, beauty, food, travel and anything else I can think of!

I thought I would kick this off with a post that had been requested quite a few times – BANANA BREAD! Be it bread or muffins, I’m a total BB fiend. So without further ado, here is my recipe!Milli Midwood Banana Bread

Banana Bread Muffins milli midwood

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt

When it comes to method, I really don’t have one. It just involves putting all of the ingredients in a bowl and mixing until smooth – spoken like a true perfectionist, I know.

Heat the oven to about 175c and, for muffins, cook for about 25-30 mins, or for loaf, cook for about 40-45 mins – I’ve found these times are subject to change depending on what kind of oven you’re using and how good it is!
