What: Chloé Fleur de Parfum
Why I Love It: Not only does the bottle look charming as anything on your dressing table, the scent is delicate and powdery, with notes of citrus, rose and fruits. People always talk about a day scent and a night scent, but this Fleur de Parfum shall be worn 24 hours a day. Obsessed!
Why I Love It: Out of the two, I am far more obsessed with the Antioxidant Facial Oil. Designed to be applied after you’ve cleansed and toned, this Rosehip and Camellia Seed-infused oil not only visibly hydrates your skin, but also works to repair any sun-damage. With a super oily complexion, I normally steer clear of anything really hydrating, because it just adds an unnecessary amount of sebum to my face, but sun-damage is definitely something I need to work on, and so I have been using this product nearly every day and I loveeee it. Still getting used to the serum though!
Why I Love it: This brand new innovative formula boasts a chip free life of up to two weeks, and you don’t even need a base coat! Choose your polish of choice from the 74 different shades on offer (I am loving this nude colour, because you can always be sure it’ll go with everything) and apply two layers of the Miracle Gel, followed by a top coat, et voila!
What: Chopard Happy Spirit Forever
Why I Love It: You may already be familiar with Chopard’s Happy Spirit collection. Well, the brand new, limited edition eau de parfum has arrived. With notes of pepper, patchouli and amber, it boasts a rich, sensual smell that fills the entire room with just one squirt. Staying true to the brand’s core, the design of the bottle (two interlocking love hearts, because the fragrance is inspired by love) is a tribute to Chopard’s much sought after jewellery.
Why I Love It: Aside from mascara, my next of kin when it comes to make-up is a great liquid eyeliner. With an oily complexion like mine (I know, you’re probably sick of hearing about my #oilyskinprobs), I need something long lasting, well pigmented and easy to use. Well, this one deffo ticks all the boxes.
Why I Love It: I have been using Scandaleyes Masacara every single day since I can remeber, so when I found out their was a bigger and better version launching, I was like a kid on Christmas eve. But when Rimmel reached out to me and asked me to be part of their promo event to launch the new mascara, I said no. Because Rimmel don’t do ‘normal’ events. No. Rimmel like to send people up in a plane, and get them to sky dive down to their events. Now, if that’s not an indication of how badass this mascara is, I don’t know what else is.
What: Kiss Beauty Blender
Why I Love It: Beauty blenders are one of those make-up utensils that refused to try when they came on the beauty scene a few years ago. I have no idea why. It was probably my incredulous attitude to make-up products got in the way. But then the girls at Kiss got in contact and asked to send me some goodies to try. As soon as I applied that first swatch of foundation to my face, using the blender, I was hooked. Watch this space if you want to win Dhs500 worth of products!
