We all know I’m a sucker for a cheese and wine night…
And no matter how many I try out, every restaurant seems to put their signature spin on it, and Grapes Bi Jebnah was no different. If you haven’t yet been to Boulevard Kitchen, it boasts charming contemporary Arabic decor, a great atmosphere and traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. For a fee of Dhs145, every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm, you can enjoy a choice of three glasses of wine (the Merlot did it for me!), and a selection cheeses. In true Arab-esque style, there was plenty of Labneh (which I wasn’t a massive fan of, but made up for by the fact there was plenty of other cheese to choose from) warm crusty breads, olives and dried fruits. My favourite part? Easily the fact they had a fry-your-own-halloumi station, which, naturally, I took full advantage of!
