A Fashion Blogger’s Guide to Cove Beach

Last Saturday I was treated to the most amazing day at Cove Beach…

If you didn’t already see my slew of snapchats, let me break it down for you so you know exactly what to do.

What: Cove Beach Club

Where: Jumeirah Beach Hotel

What to Eat: Take full advantage of the BOGOF (buy one get one free) breakfast menu on Saturday. Choose from breakfast staples like pancakes and eggs Benedict to fresh fruit platters and a basket of your favourite pastries. Later in the day, for starters, the scallops were to die for, as were the sea-bass and beef tenderloin for lunch or dinner.

What to Drink: The rosé sangria was both refreshing, delicious and a just a little bit naughty.

What to Do: If you’re feeling active (and the sea isn’t too choppy), Cove Beach offers their guests a few hours of paddle boarding. Take the SUP boards out for a spin around the Burj Al Arab, or simply relax on the sun loungers, in the sea or by the pool to the sound of chilled lounge music and live saxophonist.

When to Go: Entry is free, but a sun lounger will cost you Dhs300, which comes with a few bottles of ice cold Evian water to keep you hydrated
Ladies should also head down on a Tuesday night, where you can enjoy all you can drink rosé and light bites for just Dhs100!

What to Wear: Thanks to the beach club’s super trendy vibes, girls were rocking up in wedges, designer beach bags and full faces of make-up. Whilst I wouldn’t go that far, this is indeed a place to ditch your everyday flip flops and cut a stylish figure with cute pool coverups, floppy hats, off the shoulder tops, and oh so comfy and on-trend sliders.
