Okku launches their new Friday brunch!
The award-winning Japanese restaurant has a new weekend listing that’s not to be missed. Doors open at 12.30pm and brunchers can enjoy a glass of bubbly, a cocktail or a cold beer (depending on which package you go for), whilst indulging in platters of shucked oysters and fresh crab. At 1pm you’ll be shown to your table downstairs to let the feast ensue!
Each table starts with a platter of sushi and sashimi, which is served on a bed of dry ice to get it that extra fine dining sass. Then you will be treated to an array of small plates from the O’Style signature menu – these dishes are unlimited, so you can order as many as you can eat! I recommend the baked eggplant, spicy shrimp, dumplings and seaweed salad. Once you’ve well and truly got the gastronomical ball rolling, so to speak, you choose your main course – I absolutely loved the black cod, but the boys also said the steak was delis. And lastly, dessert. From green tea tiramisu to brownies to chocolate fondant, each and every dessert we ordered we devoured even quicker. When you’ve eaten all you can possibly eat, head back upstairs to the lounge area where the DJ is playing a retro mix of 80s and 90s tunes that are sure to have you boogying (especially after three hours of unlimited prosecco!).
