If you love a worn-in, feminine look with splashes of colour, gold hardware that lends a rush of regal propriety, plenty of flowers, French rustic finishings and candles galore, well, you’ve come to the right place.
Ed and I have been in the new #SnugPad just shy of a month, so there’s still plenty of work to be done, but we’re slowly getting there.. This won’t come at all as a surprise to regular Design & Conquer readers, but my uber feminine, frilly and bucolic sensibility, often found handing in the rails in my wardrobe, has been realised in the form of white wooden furniture, countryside-chic adornments and that all important, and oh so millennial, gold bar cart.
As mentioned, there’s still a lot of work to be done; we don’t even have curtains or light fittings yet, and my bedroom is still full of the same Ikea furniture I’ve had since I wsa 16-years-old. It’s a slow (and expensive) process, but I will be updating this post in the coming months as the decorating continues.
Ahead, a sneak peak inside my shabby chic apartment in the making.
