If you haven’t been to the newly opened Le Cirque, then what are you even doing with yourself?
Located in the Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, this new fine dining restaurant promises French food with an Italian twist, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. No classic Italian restaurant would be complete without a signature burrata dish, which was has accompanied by beef carpaccio and a glass of Sicilian white wine.
I chose the delicious lobster-stuffed pasta for mains and Ed a roasted lamb rack. The chef very kindly sent over a plate of their spinach and ricotta ravioli, which happens to be an all time favourite dish of ours, so we hoovered that up in about five seconds. The French are all about quality, not quantity, so the smaller portion sizes meant, for once, I actually had room for dessert. I can’t for the life of me remember what they were called, but they were essentially mini jam donuts and they were heavenly. Ed’s cheesecake was good, but not as good as mine!
