The newly opened Bazxar in DIFC will take you on a culinary journey around the world with its impressive multi-dining concept that’ll keep your taste buds on their toes.
From noodles at the Vietnanese station, to fresh croissants for breakfast at the bakery and coffee counter, to hotdogs and burgers at the Meat District, Bazxar is the new one-stop-shop to satisfy all your glutinous desires. Last weekend, I was invited to check out the newest addition to the restaurant, the dining room, which is more of a fine dining concept rather an on-the-go, street food style, like the rest of the restaurant.
From the chic, industrial interiors to the prettiest cocktails I ever did see, Bazxar’s dining room is an Instagrammers dream. The menu was equally as impressive, with starters ranging from watermelon flat bread topped with goats cheese and truffles, to potentially the best risotto I’ve ever eaten. For mains we chowed down on some delicious Branzino (more commonly known to you and I as seabass) and steak with a tomato and burrata side dish – drool. We finished off a lovely lunch with a deconstructed lemon meringue pie – which actually wasn’t so well received by others around me, I, on the other hand, scooped every last morsel off the plate -, and strawberry caviar cheesecake, which was to die for.
