That’s right, 2018 is now upon us, and with it comes all of our resolutions for healthy eating and well being, and I’ve found a new wholesome food haunt to cater to all these needs.
Nourish, located at, offers nutritious dishes that don’t compromise on taste. Accommodating veggies, vegans and calorie-conscious alike, the menu, headed by headed by the lovely South African Chef Julie Watson, is a myriad of holistic and clean eating dishes.
Victoria and I headed for a late weekend lunch at Nourish, and enjoyed sitting back and letting Chef Julie take the reigns with menu choice. We started with chilli-glazed edemame beans and delicious chicken and mushroom-filled dumplings with a low sodium soy sauce. For mains we tucked into to the Beef Bowl – a dish with 120g of the most mouth-watering tenderloin (rare, of course,) – and a Prawn Bowl, both of which came with healthy sides including rocket, avocado, capsicum peppers and quinoa. We washed everything down with a ‘Magically Refreshing’ smoothie made of watermelon, lime and ice before heading home with doggy bags of the highly recommended paleo brownie.
