Salon Review: JetSet

Jet Set Dubai Salon

I’ve pretty much had the same hair style since I was born. Aside from a few rebellious months in my teens, when I decided to go brunette *cringe*, my hair is completely untouched.

This means no colour, no extensions, no straightening products, no funny business. Whilst it may seem boring to some, the upside of this is that whenever a salon approaches me for a hair salon review, I know exactly what I want. When you live in such a hot climate, deep conditioning and nourishing treatments are a must. Similar to my skin, I have a really oily scalp, which means that my hair gets greasy really quickly and easily – and there’s only so much dry shampoo can do for a gal! So I headed down to JetSet at Palm Strip Mall (they also have branches in Grosvenor House and Emirates Towers) for an hour long Redken treatment, which, as you can probably see, left my hair silky smooth and polka straight.

The lovely ladies started with the Redken Diamond Oil, and gave my hair the most invigorating wash its had in a loooong time. We then combed the Redken Shot Phase deep treatment through my hair, and proceeded to rinse it all out. Last came the blow dry, which gave me a super sleek and soft finish. An added bonus? It’s sister company, NBar, is right next door. So once you’ve finished taming your tresses, you can pop round the corner for all the rest of your grooming needs!
